About Business Environments

Business Environments is a full service dealership featuring office furniture, commercial floor covering and interior design/space planning services.  We are New Mexico’s largest contract office furnishings and floor covering dealer, representing Steelcase, Milliken, Shaw and other quality products and services.

Business Environments serves the needs of every kind of workplace, large and small throughout New Mexico from our locally owned and operated facilities.  Business Environments occupies approximately 34,000 square feet of warehouse, office and display space.  We have been in business since 1973 and employ approximately 80 people.

Our goal, simply stated, is to build effective work environments that leverage the physical space to improve performance.  It’s a proven fact; the workplace will impact business results.  Let us show you how.

Furniture and Accessories

In addition to Steelcase, the world’s largest manufacturer of office furnishings, Business Environments represents over 150 other manufacturers of quality products creating a range capable of meeting any customer need.  We provide product solutions for large and small corporate offices, healthcare facilities and home work environments, educational facilities and government projects in a local, state and federal arena.

 

Floor Covering Services

As a full service contract dealer, Business Environments represents Milliken, Shaw and other major manufacturers of floor coverings.  Our services include product consultation, maintenance, estimating, recarpeting occupied office space, vinyl and cove base.  Installations are performed at your convenience by professionally trained, certified, bonded and insured installers.

Interior Design/Space Planning

Business Environments is constantly researching new and better ways to assist our clients in this challenge.  Our interior design professionals, assisted by computer technology, provide a wide range of services from Programming, Space Planning, Schematic Design and implementation.  We can help ensure ADA compliance, perform in-house Health and Safety training and conduct ergonomic evaluations through “Healthy Office” consultations.

Installation and Systems Reconfiguration

Business Environments maintains a full time factory trained team of installers.  Our installation /reconfiguration teams undergo extensive instruction in both customer relations and product application.

Move Management

Business Environments manages all the details of your business move.  We schedule, manage and arrange for disassembly, move transportation and reassembly of furniture.  We also coordinate electrical, telephones and other equipment.

Maintenance Services

We help you protect your investment in high quality furnishings and floor coverings through cleaning and preventive maintenance programs, such as fabric protection providing soil, fading and wear resistance.  All of our maintenance services are designed to protect and repair all working parts ensuring long product life.

Reconditioning Services

Critical to providing one-source solutions to the multifaceted challenges of facilities management is the ability to recondition existing quality furniture.  With Business Environments’ Renewal Services capabilities, including seating and panel systems reupholstery, painting and refinishing, you can be assured that your furniture assets will retain their value for many years.

Furniture Buy-Back and Disposal Assistance

Assisting in the disposal of products that are being replaced by new products, Business Environments can maximize the return on your existing furniture investment.

Rental Furniture

Business Environments offers a full-range of rental products for those businesses needing temporary office solutions.

Lease Programs

Business Environments leases furniture at extremely competitive rates for clients wishing to maximize their cash flow while minimizing up front expenditures.
